I have a B111 and want to build a flipping plate. Does anyone have one they have made that can post a picture. I know They can be bought I just want to make my own and need a little nudge in the right direction.
I have ordered a PID controller to get me a temp reading on my Sandia forge. Can I drill a hole into the forge body or just stick the probe straight into the door of the forge?

OK here goes. When making a can of stainless Damascus. What stainless steals do you put in the can and what stainless powder do you fill the voids with?
This might not work but my plan is to make my B111 operate like the TW-90 where I can use it vertical or horizontal. I saw a GIB done like this. If anyone has any ideas lets here them. When I start this I will take pictures.

I have a very large supply of cable. I would like some advice on heat treating. The cable I have is from the drilling line on a rig. I don't know what steels are used in it. Any help would be awesome.
I was very lucky today. I was able to get a 3-1 lathe mill-drill press, And a 25lb Little Giant. The hammer needs to be rebuilt. I have a 50lb and a press being built now. I was wondering if I should sell the hammer after I rebuild it or keep it for my shop?
