Looking for inspiration. If we all wood share. What is the order in which each of us uses our 2x72" belts we use to finish a knife. I use 50 or 36 120, 180, 220, 280, 360, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and then i buff. So what do you all use?????????? Also WHEN is a belt too worn out to use??????

Current. During process of thinning when material is hot i clamp btw steel and c clamps. The best i get is a very slight bow bit i am concerned that left or after on knife that the material will bow again. I will add an extra holddown screw on liner lock.

So trying to use so stablized and dyed moose antler on a liner lock. Question as i get it thin to use HOW do u all keep it flat?????? Every time it. Cools it bow. Help. Thanks

Looking for some detail on HOW to mill the liners to create integral bolsters. Pictures sketches print copies. Any and all wood b very very helpful snd appreciated. Yes i know there ate some for sale between 900-1500$. But retired and only working on knives as a hobby just this seems extreme...

Hallo there i make liner locks but want to make slip joint knives with one piece liner bolsters. Did u use s fixture to hold the material (silly question) wood u b willing to dhare your info on the fixture. That wood b a big help. Thanks. RA Kessler Aikenblades

I agree to a point. If you use a ficture to hold a blade snd a table to rest the fixture on is it truely a HAND MADE KNIFE or just a custom made knife?????

So Ed. I hope all is well. Do you get your folder parts cut with a water jet machine??? I used a local shop and i guess everyones understanding of close tolerance is different. I now have A LOT of scrap parts. So my search continues.

Hallo all having problem with finding the correct size hole to drill in my lock bar. I am using a 1/16 (.0625) detent ball. Should i use a no.53 (.0595) drill or is a size to size 1/16 (.0625) dia.drill correct. Thanks in advance.
