Very new to knife making, just a hobbyist. Keeps me out of trouble during Alaska's long dark winter. Somebody made my grandfather a knife in 1942, he carried it in the war, passed it down to me. My friends went to war, I learned how to make knives so they can pass them down (so far so good) and have a piece of home with them.
