    The online side of knife making can be almost as much of a learning curve as the shop work. I've noticed that good photos and simply showing the work consistently seem to matter a lot more than trying to push a sale every time. Interested to hear what has actually worked for other makers here.

    I've run into this same kind of problem, especially with lighter handle materials. It is amazing how much the final look can change just from the sanding and finishing stage. Getting the transition between the tang and handle clean seems to take almost as much attention as the blade itself.
