I HT a batch of 52100 and 8670 today. while I was HT the first batch of 52100 my toaster oven died. Wife would not let me use her oven so I finished all the knives and waited till my HT oven dropped to 400 and used it to temper. So I guess the wait was a couple of hours before the tempering...

I believe North Ridge tool is making a tool for that.

I have best results with my etch when I wash the blade a couple of times with warm water and dawn soap.

In larrins new book he recommends a fast oil.

My leather must be a bit to thick. My stitching chisels are not long enough.

I don’t think it was a finger nail mine are short but it differently was laying on something sharp.

Worst that that. When I was punching the holes l just went all the way around not thinking of the bottom point. I was on a roll lol. So I have a empty hole on the top of the point. I did the holes before I glued up.
