OK, This is #2 made out of scrap metal from Lowe's. I wanted to practice grinding something like this before moving on to better stuff. The knife is 12" with 6" blade 1/8 thick. The handle is rosewood oiled and waxed. I just been trying what I read in this forum, so you guys are my mentors...

Hi guys, I am so exited to have made my first knife. I made this knife out of a 12" circular saw blade. Dimesions are: .02" thick, blade is 5", overall 9". cutting it is was a bear. I drilled the profile then used a hacksaw. Used mostly a file and a delta 1" belt dander for grinding. The...
