I gave this Bowie a bit larger blade than I normally do (10 1/2"). The steel is an accordian cut "W" of different thicknesses of 1084 & 15N20. The handle scales are bone with fittings of blued WI, brass & 416. [Though it doesn't show it because of the angle of the photo, the ball...

This fighter has a 10" blade & 15" OAL. The damascus pattern is the result of playing around with some new techniques and the handle is some old pre-ban ivory. Let me know what you think. Gary

I gave this small fighter a blade (6 1/4") of a 40x6 W pattern with a handle of blackwood. The guard is of a 240 layer damascus (though my photography doesn't show it well) and a pommel of 420. Let me know what you think. Gary

That's a beautiful knife. I'm not a fan of carved antler but appreciate & admire your skills. If that had been an ivory or choise piece of exotic wood, you would have a "WOW". Gary

Bruce, I took the liberty of making this one a combination of two different Bowies. I don't have the book in front of me to know the exact pages but the blade is from a William Butcher knife and the handle is from a Robert Bunting (I just liked Butcher's blades better than Bunting's). Glad...
