So I belly on up to the Dozier table at the East Coast Custom Knife Show last November and saw a new Dozier model I had never seen before. After a bit of drooling and fondling - I'm a sucker for a nice bushcraft - done. Unfortunately, I had to leave it with them for a lefty sheath. I...
THanks Les. I was pretty damn excited when I saw that chart on the website. Like I said earlier, I had no idea when I originally bought the knife that it was actually made of this XHP stuff - very cool! I'll have to get a picture up tonight.
So I guess corrosion resistence is similar to...
Mike,
THanks for the link to Les' CTS pass around knife. Looks like the CTS is a nice cutting steel and sharpens easily. I'd like to see some chopping performance. Les might have to pass it around again to get a decent amount of feedback. Anyway, it would be nice to know if the edge rolls...

I was curious what you guys use to hold your blade against the disk while you're grinding? I'm thinking about trying to grind a knife but I'm gonna be limited to my Powermatic 12" disk/6"x48" belt sander. I gotta use something to hold the blank against the disk that's for sure.
