    Acid wash stainless steel

Also what ever you use heat it up.....easy to do , put the solution into a suitable container , I use a soil or drainpipe (UPVC) with a glue weld blank on the end. Placed in a deep bucket of water into which a travel immersion heat has been placed , they are used to heat a cup of water in a...

    S Grind

    S Grind

I was...

    S Grind

Well having done my second ever kitchen knife the other day I decided to free hand flat grind it, wow what a revelation, I wish I had done free hand years ago as it went like a dream and sooo easy. Oddly I learnt to free hand hollow grind years ago but never to free hand flat. My next learning...

    Smiling

Thanks for the detailed answer. I was thinking 52100 or O1 steel. Oh and the other wheel I have is 12 inch from memory, not sure if that is ok for a straight razor having never ground one.

    Warped Scales

Sent a question out to an epoxy manufacture and here is their reply regarding warping of thin wooden material, which if I am correct mirrors the previous statements. Whenever you add a liquid to a bare timber surface the timbers nature is to wick up that moisture this will have the effect of...
