    Hello: well they aren't as elaborate as some of the patter welded blades I do but they will work. I am not all that keen of the Japanese style blades but I had to cover them in book IV.. JPH

    Hello: There is a 1070 steel "jacket" that is "wrapped" around the mild steel "core and the blade is forged from that bar..This technique is called "Kobuse".. JPH
