Just finished this one a few moments ago...The first sword I ever made fir sale was a leaf bladed shortsword.. that was 45 odd years ago...This one is the up to date version..
This one has a 22" 5160 blade, phosphor bronze mounts and a really NICE curly redwood grip. I had no idea that...

Hello: I do produce a lot of pieces...that is a fact...I just have my "system" worked out so that "down time' is at a minimum as I am always working on several "projects" at the same time.. Then again I do have a reputation to live down...

Here's another bunch I managed to slip in while I am working on fulfilling all my backorders from when i was laid low for those 8 months.. All are in 1095 Electrite steel with phosphor bronze mounts and various hardwood grip.. Turned out pretty good this batch did..

Howdy!! Now that I am more or less recovered from the hideous infection and all that came close to closing me out,,I am getting back to work..just finished this bunch of sgain dubhs.. Various hardwood grips...1095 electrite steel and phosphor bronze bolster a pommel plates.

Hello: well they aren't as elaborate as some of the patter welded blades I do but they will work. I am not all that keen of the Japanese style blades but I had to cover them in book IV..

There is a 1070 steel "jacket" that is "wrapped" around the mild steel "core and the blade is forged from that bar..This technique is called "Kobuse"..
