Kampman Knives
Igor Kampman, i live in the Netherlans and i'm 39, father of 2 lovely girls and i make knives forged by hand with blood sweat and a coal fire.
I am a 'Do it yourself' auto didact artist with a wide range of skills like: Art, Tattooing and i am a bushcraft instructor with a small Bushcraft company -PolderBushcraft.
My knives are mostly rustique 'Brut de Forge' style and they are workers with a convex edge, made for use in the woods, carving, outdoors and kitchen.
I started forging in 2012 and i am inspired by knife smiths as Thai Goo, Tim Lively, Claude Bouchonville, Lon Humphrey and many others.
I love making things beautiful as possible with a rough edge what keeps the intensity and look of a knife pure and simple.
