This has been a very awesome experience ! This knife has brought in $2620.00 !!! What a remarkable response from all the veterans who have attended this delta company reunion !
Finally complete ! this knife has tested me for sure ! this knife I am donating to the Vietnam veterans reunion that is coming up in Kentucky may 5 , 2012 . hoping that this knife will bring in a lot of money to help support those brave heroes that served this country fighting in Vietnam . There...
There are tons of women I know that would love to have an all pink knife !
I think you did a great job on it . What did you use to get the extreme pink sheath? I've not seen a dye for that , I know they have leather paint , if they have a dye for that I would like to know !
you would be right , a thin edge would not let the sharpening grind be very high ! unless it was at such an extreme angle that it was paper thin . by the looks of the knives you are showing , not sure of the makers but , they know what they are doing on them . great looking knives !!
Thickness at the edge of the blade will set a precedence of how high along with angle . And to say what is better ... It really depends on what the use of the knife is intended for .
CPM 154 is what I have been using to make mine and everyone that gets them loves the durability of it and they stay very sharp when used properly . Mirror polishing is the way to go in my honest opinion . It doesnt take much to clean them after using !!! good luck and post pics when your done !!!
OK , well I may have went a little overboard with the Quarters here but ......ask and you shall receive !!:biggrin: hope this helps !!!
Thanks for the compliments !!
