Look around on the internet for other randall knives. Ebay is one place. Dealers also. Hard to find a Randall knife that ain't worth at least 500 bucks.

"buildoff" is not a word. Other than that I can't find anything else to criticize!! I just wish I owned it. Bet that baby could take apart a big Alaskan moose or bear in no time! Great looking knife.

Thanks Kevin. But this raises more questions. How do you identify a knife, "most likely to appreciate"? Is it better to commission such a knife? If so, what traits would contribute to a knife's ability to appreciate? I think Les Robertson's book on Custom Knife buying is helpful and...

I'll answer that question. If our economy is down, less people are buying/collecting luxury items. Except for the fella that purchases ONE custom knife for his hunting trips, custom knives are a luxury item. As our economy improves, hopefully (especially if your a knife maker) more folks...

The town I live in is around 60% eskimo. They all have a fridge............and at least one freezer. I have a fridge and 2 freezers. Talk to a person and learn what they need.......or want............then maybe you can sell them what you have!
