Thanks, found one at knifegrinder parts for 55 bucks with a 24mm bore and 8mm keyway.

I used a 40# on a grinder that I built for a friend and he said that it could be a little stronger so im going to put a 60# spring on mine. You have take the weight of the tracking arm into consideration also. Nice grinder btw. Mack

Ok guys, I've scored a 2hp 3 phase motor for free. The problem is that the shaft is 24mm, should I use it and bore my drive wheel out or just get a motor with a 5/8 shaft? Thanks Mack

had a guy tell me that he uses plastic jugs, oil, anitifreeeze, laundry detergent. sounds like a awesome idea but haven't tried it yet Mack
