I did not do so well at the show. I did however start a great relationship with a dealer and he bought the dagger that I had. I did hand out a lot cards and talked to a lot of people and other makers tought me a few things. It was nice to see you and the large number of people...
Received my package from WadeH on Thursday. He sent me a bar of W1, a piece of wrought iron, black G10 scales, a block of Bocote (my favorite), a block of Walnut and a block of stabilized Buckeye burl.

Thank you for the compliments. It was very hard parting with these...I might be going through withdrawal. D2 is very easy to work with before it is HT'd. I think I will start some new ones for my next batch going to Peters.

I sent these out today. The OL is around 11" with a blade that is 5-1/4". They are made out of D2 and HT'd at Peters HT. The wood is Redwood Burl and came from Larry Shaughnessy. These are the largest knives I have made to date and pollishing these things takes a lot of time...
