I failed...

Pardon me while I go behind the barn and become sick with envy. But, seriously, I'm tickled to death for you. It will be many years before I get there!

Currently, I have a Grizzly knife maker 2x72. If it were not for The Masters Tournement I would not be able to cough up the money but after 10 straight 16 or 17 hour days I have it paid for thankfully. The grizzly was a big, big step up from my 1x30 but I have reached the point where I know I could do better work with the ability to slow the belt down some and the small wheel kit will eliminate my need for three different sanders I currently use only for their small idler wheels. Also, I will only need to buy 2x72 belts and not 1x30, 4x36, spindle sanders and 2x72.

At least I feel better knowing others have started with a 1x30! Good tools/the right tools for the job at hand are always a blessing to own. Can't wait to see the blades you start turning out with your new acquisition. Happy for you.......I'm sure you'll feel like a kid in a candy shop when it arrives. You better post a video of the box opening day for all to see.:)
