Once the stain dries, could you put a top coat over it (eco flo or something)? Or rub it down with a cloth until it stops staining?

Do you guys wear gloves when folding foil? Haven't ever cut myself too badly, so I don't. The thing I'm most worried about is dust in the lungs, not a specific tool. Don't own a buffer yet.

So, a couple things that stand out to me: it looks like your FFG has already gone past the spine, creating shoulders at the plunges. This is not desirable, but could be remedied by thinning out the whole knife. I think it is a little odd to have two shoulders in the tang, but I'm not sure there...

Very nice, I really like the handle combo! Cleaning up the blade after glue up is difficult. Try putting tape on the edge and then getting the blade in a stable (solidly clamped to a table, in a vice, etc) position to work on.

I really don't know how you would test that, except maybe bending the knife until it snaps and seeing whether it snaps sooner? Not sure if it would be a problem or not, but it makes sense that it would cause stresses, which can never be a good thing.
