Hi Kuro- I personally would dispense with the compound grind, unless was a deal breaker for the customer. On the handle I would straighten out the dip in the top forward area and lessen the curve at the bottom of the guard and bottom of the butt. Everyone has a different eye for what is right...

Just to throw in on this, if you're gonna stab a pig you want long and narrow blade for penetration and so don't have to have a cup of coffee with the thing before you kill it. I would probably use a steel more prone to high impact toughness (D2, S7, M4) and not for extreme edge holding (CPMS60)...

Bummer Vance- chock it up to a good learning though. Rosa is right- it's good to know your perfect height using the calculator but can stretch the line if careful. A little undercutting is ok as long as don't get the center too thin. Only other solutions are bigger grinding wheels or narrower...

Just finished this order for a set of CF scales on a SOG spec elite. I like the look but it was more of challenge than expected as the countersinks are different size side to side as well as pivot shank and csink. Had to grind custom tooling and mill recess inside for side plate and spring...
