    Sniper Aggression and Benghazi Warfighter

James, Just trying to jerk your chain. I had my dad send me a Bowie I had made before I was in Vietnam. Before I got it I thought it might be something I needed over there but later tossed if from a Huey after I got tired of packing it. I've been enjoying seeing you knife progression over...

Anyone use a rock for hollow grinding a blade?

I did hollow grind 3 or 4 blades using an 8" stone wheel when I first started making about 20 years ago. It can be done but even with a good hollow grind using a stone wheel the scratches are very deep and finishing the blade is very time consuming. The best thing about using a stone wheel is...

Learn the Bible in 24 hours

Andrew, Do you know if they offer DVD's or is it just on youtube? Wish I had taken a look at this thread when I was laid up with the shoulder. I'm always wanting to learn more on the bible. Please accept my belated thank you.

    Going in for repairs

Brad, Thanks for asking. Been doing therapy for the shoulder about a month now. The first couple weeks of therapy were to gain motion and now little by little starting to regain strength. Still aways to go but pleased with the progress for the shoulder. Met with a hand and wrist surgeon about...

    Help Restoring Old Knife

The knife itself appears to be in good shape. I'd just put a light coat of oil on it and that would be it. A buddy of mine while in Vietnam received a knife real similar to what you have in a care package from an aunt. When I saw the knife first thing I did was pick it up and I tried to stick...

    Going in for repairs

Monday, Monday is the day I become a 69 year old left hand'er. Brushed what teeth I have left with my left hand last night. It felt pretty awkward but I think that will be one of the easier personal hygiene things I need to get good at. I'm sure I will be singing the "Left Handers Blues" soon...

Tantos, a camp knife, and a chubby kwaiken

The times I did Blade it would take me two weeks just to get over the jet lag and just being down right beat. Two tables is a lot of product, hope most of it sold. Are you still a one man shop?

    Problem with my grinder.

I've had pretty good results by running several layers of black electrical tape down the center of the idler wheel which gives the wheel a little more crown and helps remove the wobble.

    Going in for repairs

Round and round we go. Where we stop nobody knows. Did have an answer to prayers with receiving a shoulder surgery date but don't want to announce it until I feel its actually going to happen. Its a little more than a month out. Actually the later date is a blessing since I should be able to...

    Going in for repairs

A month now since I found out I was sick besides being broken. They put a name on what I have, Asbestos pleural disease. Not cancerous yet. Hope to hear if they will still do the shoulder surgery. Starting to wonder now. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers........
