    I will take a shot at an answer. Generally speaking if a single person hand forges a blade, it takes longer than in a production line setting. So a hand forged blade will cost more because of the hours needed to complete the knife/axe/cleaver/etc.. I equate your hand forged term to hand...

    Memorial Day knife. Ebony and ivory. Some stainless steel. HHH Damascus - twist. Double stitched sheath. Just a bit longer than 9.5 inches OAL. The ivory is a hippo tooth. I intentionally left the enamel in the top strap. On the very end is a cavity.

    A clip point hunter that I call Jackson. 1075 high carbon steel. Orange and Trio G10 bolsters/scales. Brass pins. Saddle tan sheath with black rollover and black stitching. My very first Sam Browne stud. I do not make very many unstamped sheaths. Just had that feeling today.
