    First Kitchen knife

I had a bunch of scrap pieces of this black mop acrylic and a small piece of cocobolo laying around so I thought I would mess around and make a kitchen utility knife. Its from 3/32 1095. This kitchen knife was much more fun than I thought it was going to be. I am definitely going to make more...

    Pins and antler question

I want to give antler scales a try but I want to keep them intact as much as possible. My question is how do you keep the antler around the pins intact? I dont want the pins to stick out to far and grab some hand skin but I dont want to sand them down and have big circles around the pins where...

    Please help with picture quality

After trying to photograph knives for the past year or so I have finally captured one that I really like. That being said I know there is tons of room for improvement. I would very much appreciate any feed back or comments. Thanks Derek Lee.

    Number 18 1095 and Ironwood

Just finished this one. This is the first time I have put a false edge on anything its not perfectly even on both sides but I am happy with it. It compleyly changes the personality of the knife! This is from 5/32 1095 and Ironwood with 416 stainless pins with a thin white liner. 3.5" blade...

    wood finishes and non-stabilized...superglue?

I received a knife in this summers KITH that was super glue finished and its holding up pretty well. The maker told me that he finished at 1000 grit I think then put a coat of superglue then sanded at 1000 again. then did it again and again. I think in the end he did 10 coats. He did a good...
