    Question on guards.

I just finished up my first hidden tang piece. To be honest I am not really happy with it. The handle is a bit thin and long but you have to start somewhere. My question is how do you guys clean the solder off the guard? I couldn't clean it off without scratching the blade against the "grain"...

    2013 Knife Making Progress

Man i cant wrap my head around how your doing what your doing. Your blades look machined. You have a methodical approach to making knives. To me it looks like you change angles by a degree or two. It all seems so mechanical. I imagine that this is how a military geometry mathematician would go...

Spalted Box Elder Burl and O1... #10

awesome work. I love the handle material. your lines are clean and the shape is great. I really like the Idea of etching the name on the spine. My only "but" is that with no marking on the blade its hard to easily see who made it. If I borrowed the knife and liked it I would look for the...

    Micarta or G10...

I think I would go with micarta. you have more control of color and you can make as many as you need. you dont need to worry about waiting for shipping...just drying

I posted a few of my pieces here on knifedogs. My problem is where do I sell them and how? I have given a few to family and friends...

    Liner lock question.

I am interested in making a liner lock folder. The only folders I have made have been friction. My question is what material and thickness should the liner be? I checked out a few videos that have used titanium. I am just wondering if it has to be titanium and how thick should it be and still...
