Here is one I'm finishing for a customer its a Lil' Natch" Bowie. AEB-L steel 61 RC with filework, black/orange resin scales and nickel silver bolsters.

ive always used router bits in my drill press for things like that and a straight edge to keep it uniform

Yes Mustard is kinda funny it gets darker where you have less mustard and more air gets to the steel

Here is another knife going to a local customer for hunting. Its A2 steel 60 rc with mustard patina and stabilized spalted maple handle

It is .060" orange G-10 liners and black canvas micarta the handles are just sanded and wiped down to leave grippy. The blade is A2 with Bos heat treat to 60RC with mustard patina and hand jimping along the spine. A friend at work said it was the most comfortable knife he has ever held.
