Actually Denny, I hadn't thought about it until now.. But, the first knife out of the new shop was my Shrapnel project... There's another reason to be proud of that knife!!!

I have 2 Of my Damascus Bottle openers available. They were done as a collaboration between myself and Chad Nichols. Chad built the Ladder Pattern Stainless Damascus specifically for these knives and I Ground and heat treated them.. My makers mark is on one side and Chad's is on the other...

I have just started doing some testing with Elmax. I spent about 3 hours visiting with their metallurgist Pat, at dinner after the Blade show. Her suggestion for Elmax is to also add a cryo to the heat treat before the first temper cycle. This conflicts, I know, with some of the other steel...
