    Eric I think it looks good. I like the contrast between the orange and green. If there are any faults, most wouldn't notice. I have the same problem, I know every little blemish when I'm done. It's a good looking knife.

    does any one make there own stencils? I have the pattern on a transparent sheet, have the stencil material. what kind of light bulb should i use? and about how long should i expose it (i know i will have some trial and error) but about how long am i looking at? Thanks in advance

    You'll. Need a VFD (variable frequency drive) to change the speed on the motor. What's the HP on the motor?sometimes I can get an old VFD from work that they are getting rid of.

    I soaked it for 1hr at 1950F. i did have it in a pouch.there was a little carb on the handle.

    so i've heat treated a large knife made from 440C. and i ended up with a RC of 45, Not so good. can i reverse the process and try again? i know were i went wrong i soaked it too long. this is the first time i've used my new oven and did it by myself.
