    Custom Breacher Bar/Chisel

Yeah, a 1/8" layer of orange was my first idea, but the only orange I have is the textured G10 (with the peel off top). Didn't want to have a surface underneath that would hold moisture/grit.

    Custom Breacher Bar/Chisel

After some thinking, I decided to go ahead and recess the hardware. Finished it this morning. I don't have a mill, so I'm doing my inletting freehand with a router bit in my drill press... Some room for improvement there, but overall I like it, and it is less-harsh on the hand now. Had...

BR Wharncliffe, 1084 with spalted maple and black micarta

Good point. I've not tried to drill these spring clips before. I don't guess they'd been too bad to drill, as long as I clamp it down.

I am too Jeff... It seems to maximize the amount of usable blade you can get for the length. A few sheath pics. the clip is just on there because I got bored... It works well for IWB though.

    Knives for russian bushcrafters.

Sorry for adding an image to your thread... but I think it fits in with the conversation on "have a guard makes it a weapon". You can't tell me that the top 2 knives are any less purpose-built than the others. Like you said... really weird laws. :) Image from EK Knives website.

My first knife and Kirinite handles

You have NOTHING to be ashamed of in that first knife! Yeah, there are things to improve, but that's all part of the learning and growing process. :) Good design, good looking material choices. I guess you don't have much to compare to, but how did you like working with the Kirinite?

BR Wharncliffe, 1084 with spalted maple and black micarta

Thank you. Spalted maple is my #1 favorite wood, and the handle was supposed to be ALL maple. But one errant mistake while countersinking for a corby, and we now have a black bolster. :)
