    My second Slipjoint

'] [/URL] I just completed my second slipjoint pocket knife today. Mill relieved liners, G-10 caps and 410 stainless bolsters. Seems like I've been working on it forever. This Lanny's clip is for my Dad for Christmas. These little things are addicting!! Let me know what you guys think.

That looks looks very well done to me. Very nice clean lines and the plunge shoulders appear to be lined up nicely. I wish my first attempt had turned out that clean!

FILE GUIDE and how to use it

One of the best tools I've ever purchased. I still cannot believe how easy it makes getting perfectly aligned plunge lines. I am also the proud owner of one of Mr. Bump's handle broaches. Both are phenomenal and I highly recommend them!! (Bruce--will that review suffice for the free knife you...

    Help with etching

I can try and help but need more info. How many Volts were you using? Was there a ground wire attached to the blade from the etching unit? What etching solution did you dampen the etching pad with?

    Anodizing titanium

Wink brand rust and stain remover works just as well as the multi etch. It contains Hydrofluoric acid which is one of the only acids that will react with Titanium. Make sure it is the "Wink" brand. You can order from Amazon or find at most ACE hardware stores.

    Anodizing titanium

I built an anodizing machine that also doubles as an etching machine for my stencils. Base unit is a 0-130v variable transformer with 3 amps. Bought a bridge rectifier, a project box, some banana plugs and a toggle switch (to change from AC to DC). The anodizing is fast and accurate and the...
