    Just finished this little beaut up for a client. 4" blade 3.75" handle of rc 60 440C. Handle scales are stabilized double dyed (red and black) box elder burl with nickel silver pins Client showed up just as I was finishing so was only able to grab a couple quick pictures.

    Thanks lawrence. The dark ring around the one side of the pin is actually a small epoxy filed gap. I guess I either didn't peen good enough or as I took off material while shaping, I ground away the peened part.

    I think I have myself convinced to try a hidden tang for this Kith. I've never done a hidden tang. It seems like a good time to challenge myself. I'll likely also do a full tang as a backup in case of a complete fail on the hidden tang.

    Beautifull work! With the lower arm of the gaurd sticking out that far, looks like you would have a hard time sharpening the blade all the way to the back of the blade.
