Mr. Caffery, first of all thank you for taking the time to answer my thread. I am a big fan of your work (as well as many others on the forum) the show I will be attending is a metal art show, it is the first year for this show.

we broke the burl down into about 8" - 10" wide slices with the chain saw. The centre of the burl was hollow so it made for easy cutting. I should have cut the slabs thinner more like 4" - 5"
