    Crowned Drive Wheel?

Crowns on all give the belt a hub to ride on in the center. Makes for smooth tracking & adjusting. Some will put a few rounds of tape on a flat wheel to give it a crown. Also Brian that posted above me builds the Uber Grinder machines. So there you have it from a grinder designer & builder.

Craftsman 2x42 Grinder, Mods and Troubles

Sorry to hear that. Do you have a credit card? mMap three knives, and sell them each for enough to make three more. The first buys more materials, The second pays the credit and the third one goes to the rent/Wifey or towards paying off the card! That's how I bought the Coote. 18 years...

Bruce, Congrats! First I would research the history of cut & shoots and talk about how your single/double shot black powder pistol became a hammer in the heat of battle and adding in a spike/blade for the Coup d'etat of your adversary for a few minutes. Advise them to check local laws...

    Buffer PPE

Buffers are the one of if not the most dangerous tools we have. If it had cut one of the Arteries in your thighs you might bleed out before you could get to help. I have a full thickness full hide Apron that hangs past my knees to protect those Arteries and the family jewels! :3: Be care brother.

    WWII Katana

We needs some pics! If its a stamped Officers sword in bad shape from WWII you paid about market rate. If its a forged blade you may kick yourself for "Restoring" it. Very few people know how to policy those blades correctly and from the sound of it pal, I don't think you are one of them? Was...

    Serrated wheel reface?

Ed, I've always had that 40/50% tops on the VFD for my 1/2" & 3/4" and never run the 5/16" fasted that 30%. I've never toasted a rubber wheel, yet. I will ask if the Urethane wheels are from Sunrey and if they don't want to tell me I don't think I'll be buying.

    Serrated wheel reface?

Ed, Thank you. Now do you think its just Sunrey's formula for urethane or all of it in general? I've heard of small wheels of urethane being smoked fairly easily. I wasn't there and don't know if the operator would have smoked wheels of Krytonite? I will look into it again before my next...
