    I started making spoon rings a couple years ago and sell quite a few of them on the web and some local venues. Just though I would show a few of them to ya'll. I prefer to use sterling silver but I make some with silver plate too, the second one is silver plate the rest are sterling.

    I've seen some really nice damascus rings by one or two people here on the forum, I'll see if I can find them and post a link or name in this thread. I make spoon rings from antique Sterling but don't think that's exactly the thing you use to celebrate 25 years of wedded bliss...hmmm

    Boss, I had a Campbell Hausfield Iron Horse for quite a while and for the money it served me well. Did some sand blasted HDU and wood signs when I had my sign biz. Also used it with different blast cabinets do powder coated parts. The only time it would get short winded was on large wood signs...

    Chris, My pick is G10, it's durable, comes in lots of colors, can be polished or finished so it has some grip to it, pretty easy to work with too. I like carbon fiber ok but, don't like grinding it much, I do sell lots of it for scales though. I cut some CF for scales yesterday and I still itch...

    Good advice from James on the safety aspect. Canvas base micarta would be a good choice for grip and maybe finish it with 100 to 120 sandpaper.
