The blade and spine are 440C, the bolsters are 416 and the handles are carbon fibre. I used .090 titanium for the liners, more than twice as thick as I normally...

    screw problem

The folder I am making calls for 0-80 stainless screws on the bolster and 0-80 black anodized screws on the slabs. The shaft of the black screws are .060 while the stainless are .058. I use a #55 drill and tap with an 0-80 tap. The stainless fit great but the black will not fit in the holes. If...

Or at least I think it will be a challenge. What I need is a bar of damascus that once ground with a deep dagger grind will have a pattern inthe steel like the picture. Now I know my drawing skills are really bad but the idea is to end up with a fairly regular saw tooth pattern with each tooth...

    another spring install question

Old thread, but I figured out that the space I was using for the spring was exactly the size of the spring which left no room for compression. By opening up the channel that the spring ran in it solved this problem. Still didn't get the overall knife to turn out the way I wanted but I put it...

Problem sewing with the Tippmann Boss

I am continueing to run into a problem where the belt loop interferes with the sewing of the edge of the sheath near the top. Is there some trick or part that will alliviate this problem. What thickness of Titanium?

I prefer .040" for my liner locks but they tend to be gentlemens knives not rugged EDC types. Steve
