The tab on the door hinge that pushes the button in when door closes may need to be bent slightly. If it's just barely pushing it in when cold, once it gets warmer it may not. Hope this makes sense. Had the same prob with mine at higher temps. Easy fix if that's the prob.

Just got mine last week. Have only made a few guards on it so far, but have been happy with it.

I like to make sure all of the filework is actually filled in with epoxy, then sand it all flush with the scales and the tang.
