I do think that the ceramics are usually meant for kitchen and the stainless steel can be used for outdoors survival.

Thanks for the suggestions. As the ceramics are fragile, I am thinking of getting the stainless steel blade though I have to manage with sharpening of these knives on a regular interval.

I am looking for knives which can be used at home and outdoors as well. That's why I am comparing about the blade tyre I should have.
