Thanks! This one is going to be wrapped in silk ito. So its simply going to hide the seam under the ito. I've never tried making one without the wrap since the seam would bother me too much.

Agreed, especially if you use a sen (Japanese draw knife). Your much better off with an angle grinder and a good set of files until you can buy a 2x72 grinder.
