    Red, Blood Red

I've been looking for some bright red handle material. Only thing I could find was G10, but it's on the dark side of red. Haven't used Kirinite myself- but I've seen several colors in person- including red, and it wasn't what I was looking for.

    Got my DD Workrest today

It's a great design, I initially had concerns with rigidity. But from my little use so far, it's very solid. Not a lot of weight, and good working space. PM Sent Fred. Thanks Laurence. Things are good, haven't had any back issues in a while *knock on wood*. The weather seems to be tormenting...

    Got my DD Workrest today

One of my problems with the KMG, is it's lack of an articulating workrest. A friend recently told me about DD Workrests, so I placed my order right away. This is something I've been waiting for someone to make ever since getting my KMG. Just thought I'd share this, I'm sure a few of you would...

Programming an AC Tech SMVector VFD

Appreciate it guys. I've been so tied up at work that I can't get to anything knife related. Haven't been able to finish the Drewcarta knife either, which I feel terrible about.

Programming an AC Tech SMVector VFD

Thanks John. I still haven't done the conversion to my KMG yet, originally planned to learn how to weld and make a bracket. But never got around to it. Might piece together something simple just to work for now. I'll be sure to disable to vector feature, this thing has a ton of programs!

Taking the dive into knife making

Spent most of my day assembling this Frankenstein buffer. Looks hideous, but works like a charm, and I can switch between two speeds. Up to three different speeds if I shift the motor a little. Also finished up this knife. Stitching up the sheath tomorrow. Closeup of the...

Taking the dive into knife making

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I had handle material on a knife not quite work out, now it needs to be re-done. An insane amount of delays also set me back, doing what I can now to make up for it. Nothing but problems lately.. On a positive note, the SPM1 with Hawaiian mango is coming...

    Vertical Tool Rest

I did something similar for my KMG. Works great, just harder to see what your doing. I notice if I don't pay attention, there will be a dip at the point of my blade. And I have to work in a long motion, otherwise I get dips.

Programming an AC Tech SMVector VFD

Thanks Scott. The manual is a little confusing for me. Right now what I'm confused about is the cosine phi. The motor I have doesn't list it anywhere. I was thinking the power factor is the same. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

Programming an AC Tech SMVector VFD

Hey Guys, I am looking for some advice on programming this VFD. It's not my first time wiring one, so that area is good. But this all digital system, is something completely new to me. I went with this over a KBAC27D because, I got a good deal on it. This will be powering a 1.5hp 3 phase...
