Keith, I haven't finished a slip joint yet. I have one on the bench with the pivot drilled but thats were it sets. I guess the whole spring to blade relation puzzles me some. How much tension is enough or not enough?How do you set the tension? Im gonna try and finish this up so i will know...

Here is one i finished up with a 4.5" Alabama Damascus Blade. Cast White bronze Guard with a Kingwood Handle. I made the guard from wax and had it cast with a couple others i made . I was very disappointed when some porosity pits popped up on top when it was almost finished. Arrrrgh! [/IMG]
