No that "hammered/beat up look" is kid's stuff, these are professional blacksmiths that do far more forging then any bladesmith ever will, and dont have the luxury of being able to grind anything smoothly after forging, so things need to be right the first time. Good to hear things went well...

In a perfect world? Yes. There might be a 1-10 SFPM difference but I think it won't make a difference.
