What an awesome surprise! Congratulations! Very generous of the gift givers! I guess I can say I received a KITH knife that was at the end of an era and the beginning of another. :)

Thank you all. I try to keep improving every year. 2019 will bring another year of improvement. Much of my motivation to improve comes from reading, listening, and watching others. I owe much of my knowledge and inspiration from right here on this forum — knife dogs!

These are the last two for this year. Both are CPM154, satin finish. 3.5” blade about 7” OAL. One has redwood Burl handle, the other is desert ironwood bolster with black ash burl. Designed to be EDC knives. Sheaths by my brother. Hope y’all have a Merry Christmas.

The pictures show a great knife but when I watched the video it came alive. Wow. That is some fantastic work. You definitely have some skills and must have great patience for that level of detail.

One simple thing I did was bought a cheap shop light. Those aluminum things that can clip or clamp on. Put a daylight bulb in it and then duct taped tracing paper on the front of the light assembly to diffuse the light. It is not a total solution but it did help a lot. Diffused light like what...

I have a similar story but not the exact problem. Often I go to the shop in a decent shirt not expecting to do any real work. I get side track and end up with another shop shirt. I have a lot more shop shirts than good shirts now.

Like others, I use PayPal a lot. I’ve never had problems. Seems pretty convenient once it’s set up. I do not tie in with my banking info. Just credit card.
