As usual, it’s a very nice knife and I like your selection of micarta. You seemed to have found a good supplier of the micarta based on this knife and some of your other knives as well.

    Liner Lock Project

That’s a great looking knife and thanks for the WIP. I haven’t made a folder yet but it sure looks like intricate work.

From the scrap bin, a WIP

Sleek design. Looks great. I’m amazed how productive so many knife makers are on this forum. You must not sleep very much.

    MikeL and KITH WIP

Funny :D Not sure how the selections will go but I’m looking forward to it. It’s been fun to watch the KITH WIPSs.

    MikeL and KITH WIP

Thanks Brandant. The crosscut carbon has a cool look. There is some discoloration in the grey liner that I couldn’t clean off. Still trying to make the perfect knife. One day maybe.

    MikeL and KITH WIP

The KITH knives themselves are finished. I’m getting a few sheaths from Bro. Once I have those selected, I’ll call the KITH project complete. Pictured are two sheaths that I think are pretty good matches. I think I’m going to meet the KITH deadline. I should say, the original plan was to allow...

    BrandantR's KITH WIP

I can see I’m going to have to save this WIP along with several others I’ve seen in the last couple months. Thanks for the detail.

    Giving Up The Hammer

How disappointing that must be! Maybe just keep the anvil for old memories sake.

That’s a very generous offer. Let me hunt around here for someone that does this kind of work first. Thank you.

Sorry, just thought of one more question on laser engraving. Did you use an etch before and if you did, do you find the laser is sharper or more crisp? Thanks

    BrandantR's KITH WIP

Thanks for the info. That’s a lot of 2x72 belts ... but I’ll look into used prices. :)

    BrandantR's KITH WIP

Another great WIP/tutorial. What brand or model hardness tester is that? Just wondering, mainly, if it’s affordable.

    Using magnets to fix warp

Yes I agree, Probably would work but can use Ed’s idea to hang them rather than the way I was. Less chance at burning material if using the brass.

    New Blade Finished today

I like your use and choice of micarta. I’m referring to this knife and two, I think, before this one.

    Using magnets to fix warp

So many good ideas coming from years of experience. Another one I’m going to have to remember! I hate to show my way, it was old wood pen blanks duct taped to a file which was duct taped to the vise jaw with a single wood pen blank taped to opposite vise jaw....you get the idea. Somewhat...

Very nice raffle knife! Great finish and color combo. On the laser engraving, it looks very crisp. If I were to search my local area for someone that does this, what kind of laser would they need to have to do such a clean job on steel?

    New bench

Very nice work space on that bench top and the drawers space is a great tribute and remembrance. I too have stuff in my shop built by my father.
