Make the stand like a dolley or hand cart. That way when down its solid, lean it back and wheels contact and you can move it around.

What kind of hp and rpm can you expect from the 12 amp motor? I am all for saving a few bucks, I did that myself when I got my kmg, I bought my motor elsewhere and got the 1hp. It worked pretty well for anything up to 3/32, 1/8 and above thickness would bog it down or trip my breaker...

Stock removal. And honestly a sheet big enough for a tomahawk in o1 is around $50, a2 $76 so like 1/10 of what places who make them charge ( $400-$500) I would love to forge it just not set up for that yet, maybe in the next 10 years hopefully. My neighbors wouldnt take kindly to the noise...
