I haven't heard of too many knives that rival the performance of Jerry's knives. However,I have heard of some forged blades that out-cut them. I simply want to make the best danged stock-removal knives I possibly can,until I learn to move hot steel... I want to find a steel that will offer all...

I did notice that too; when my brain and body were just drained,and my eyes were getting heavy,it seemed to unlock some serious creative juices... (I used to write and draw a lot,and the wee hours of the morning were when the creativity seemed to flow the best)
