My first two blade knife,by the grace of God.

Making one slip joint is asking for punishment, making a double blade is just insane! Very very nice.

    Couple of slip joint WIP

:D dang turkeys bout time to brush up on some calling. Well yes I have actually been in the shop. WHen I left off I had drilled the mother of pearl. It chipped out some and also I had left the mop a little higher (proud) of the bolsters. This was so that I could lay it on the flat platten...

    The Big O!

Hey stranger, I don't know how fast you grind, but I can see a big difference with speed. If I run my grinder on the slower setting the 3m gold belts you are talking about will last forever and put the blazes to shame. If I run my grinder on fast the blaze belts will out last the 3m gold belts...

    Couple of slip joint WIP

Well I got the bolsters up to 600 grit before glueing up. This wasn't really necessary because I had the MOP a little proud of the bolster so that I could sand it down flush and get rid of any surface chips. It was more to let me know that the spot weld spots weren't going to show when polished...

    Couple of slip joint WIP

Well after taking a haitus from everything but work I'm back. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I got the bolsters flat sanded. I wanted to get them just a hair thinner than the mop so that they could be sanded flat together and the mop would be more soft than the...
