    War club question

historically speaking the blades that were used on gunstock warclubs would probably Rc at about 50. soft by modern standards but definetly in the spring-y territory. so forge it out, heat treat ,and temper to a blue.

Fixin' to build a wood/charcoal forge

I can only offer this advice: if you have the means put a lid on your forge, if for no other reason than to keep the rain off. If your fortunate enough to be able to setup indoors or have a roof over you, great. But i can't tell you how much time i have spent having to reline my forge just...

    The Danger of Neo

i came to the neo tribal style by way of pyromania. which may explain why i dont want to switch to propane just yet. sure, propane gets hot but you cant howl and grunt and chant around the propane tank. that would just look weird. :-)

    Lets do a Charcoal Forge

I've seen a maker in oahu use a forklift tine as an anvil. you might want to check with any business that uses a fork lift. they change those tines quite often so you might stumble upon one. on the big island you have that black mud to, right, that will work as a clay filler to.
