Anybody know the head Dia of a #2 button head?

Anytime you need a measurement like that, look on McMaster-Carr. They have technical drawings for almost everything. They even have CAD you can download for a lot of their parts.

    What drill press?

Keith, I bought 11 Harbor Freights and have each set up as it's own workstation that keeps the same setup. For about $40 a piece, kinda hard to beat. I removed the adjustable table and just use the base. I cut the main shaft to the length I wanted it to be with the tool in it.

You know things suck when a postal worker is getting ripped off by the postal service.

F³ Fixed Blade with double grinds

Just finished this one. It's one of my 6" versions. I did a dagger style grind on this one. CPM-3V with a blackened/washed no glare finish. On to doing the sheath. Thanks for looking.

    Couple of Custom Nanos

Heres a couple of custom orders. First is a bright yellow linerlock. I did a blackened marble finish to the blade. Kinda has a bumblebee look. Second is a Punisher framelock. Blade has a two-tone effect with stonewash and satin. Thanks for looking.

    Curtiss Knives KD Military Knife

Knife is done. Heat treated and finished today. I did a black oxide and tumble finish on the blade. Gives it a no-glare marble kinda look. I carved the scales and bolted them on with two of my folder pivots. I must say I'm very proud of this knife. Not only for where it is going, but the final...

    Smaller chainring bolts

Not irritated, just want to see these new bolts installed in something. Have you used them yet? Post pics.

    Smaller chainring bolts

Jake, I will speak for USA Knifemaker's Supply since Tracy is out of town. Whether or not titanium is good for a pivot or fastener really doesn't matter on this thread. They are too expensive to make in large quantities "to get best price" for this small of a market. Yeah, they would be cool and...

Is it slow for you too?

There are some good points here. In just a couple of days after elections, my waterjet side has picked up. I'm still way behind on getting my finished knives done, so that part never changed. Hopefully things will even out soon.

Well I'm gonna start the party early! This is my build knife. It is the same A-2 blank that is going to everyone. I just pulled one from the pile. Yes, the rest are shipped! I already had some corbys and MCAD G-10 from Tracy, so why not start. I did a hollow grind and swedge on mine. My blade is...

    New F³ Fixed Blades

F³ "Form, Function, and Fit" The first knife was a custom order, but is one of my standard models. The F³ 8" fixed. Blade is CPM-3V .200" thickness. Fully “skeletonized” tang for reduced weight. O.D. Green G-10 scales with stainless hardware. The second is my F³ Neck Knife. Blade is .125"...

    1911 Tweezees

Here is my latest tool. I have found 4 uses so far. 1911 bushing tool, 1/4" hex drive, tweezers and self defense. These are .150" 6AL4V titanium with a stonewash finish. Just a bit over 4 1/2" long. Tweezers have very fine teeth that mesh together and work great. I use a regular set of my...

    IKBS bearing System

The deal is if you want to use a bearing system like IKBS or that is similar to IKBS, call Dwaine Weikum at EDC Knives and send him the knife to get approved for using the system and using the logo. If you come up with your own system or use Midwest Knifemaker's Supply, AKS or another production...

Is it slow for you too?

I've seen a significant slow down in the past month or so. My waterjet side has slowed down but my custom knives are about the same. What about you? Do you think its just the economy? Elections? Christmas coming? Moon phase? Not holding my tongue right? I don't have an answer. It usually slows...
