Thank's guy's! jawilliams0425 I did the mount, I boiled it for 5-6 hours. then spent another 5-6 hours scraping the flesh off with my boker stockman. The wood is a single 1x6 piece of poplar I found and cut it into 2 pieces and joined together so the green stripe matched up :D

Is there any way to put it back in a canister, Seal it & heat it up to welding temp, & follow Bruce's advice to then compact it from one end with your press to re weld the billet? Jason
