The set is complete and information on how to make it yours is at The Wasteland Crow Project Blog! Here are a few pictures of the completed set: And here are just two examples of carry methods, the back mount and the baldric (of course you can tie it down with paracord, use the loops...

    Sibert Bushcraft Sheath

Both the knife and the sheath are beautifully made. Is that a hole to drain water from the sheath on the back?

Please Put All Tutorial Requests Here

Personally, I think a tutorial on mating non-flat surfaces of handle materials (think of some Scandinavian knives with stick tangs that have a piece of antler that has a curved surface mated to a matching birch surface. It's hard to explain, so here's an example:

So I made it like he said...

He wants a crooked knife? Why on earth would he assume you would know to make the knife crooked? No one makes a knife crooked on purpose, at least not that I've seen. I also vote "walk away" on that one. Someone else will be willing to buy a nice, straight, antler-handled hunter with fish...

Light Tent + Better light = Better pictures = Better money

Well, I started work on my lightbox today! So far I just have my frame built, and I haven't decided whether to use velum paper, a white sheet, or white garbage bags--I've heard of all three being used, now. Here is a picture of mine, and yes, I meant to leave out a bar on the bottom because...

Neck knife with a retention snap?

Any sheath at an improper angle will be uncomfortable if forced into you by a vehicle collision--if not, then whatever material it is made of is probably not tough enough to protect you from the blade. If you are wanting Kydex, I have actually seen a style where you can actually lock the Kydex...

    Custom Kitchen Knives?

Since it hasn't been made yet, I'm not sure exactly how much it will weigh--I know it's being made of 3/32" thick steel, and I know that the balance point should be somewhere between where the index finger and thumb pinch the blade and where the middle finger rests. I don't need anything...

    Custom Kitchen Knives?

Hello everyone, I got to thinking a while back about how I only have one chef knife...which sucks...a set of utility knives...which suck...and a set of paring knives...which suck. After that thinking, I decided that at the very least I need a new chef knife (more of a santoku, really), since...

    Sneak-Peek: The Wasteland Crow Project

Well what have we here? An adjustable strap of some sort: I got the sheath trimmed up a bit: Then I dressed up the edges a little, set in some super heavy duty brass eyelets, and cut the stitching groove: Then it came time to test the fit--much better than cardboard, I'd say: Next...

    Sneak-Peek: The Wasteland Crow Project

The sheath is currently cemented together, but I don't have any pictures of that at the moment. What I do have pictures of is this neat little thing--well, this neat 32" to 77" thing. ~Noah

    Sneak-Peek: The Wasteland Crow Project

The front of the sheath, in progress. The bit of leather you see sticking out from underneath is the welt that is currently cemented into place--I let the edges be uneven because I'm going to true them up all at once. ~Noah
