    The Surefire Echo is a Lefty with molle plate. Rat 3 and Pathfinder are belt carry.

    Here is a couple of ZT Knives. The ZT 0121 will be set up for vertical or horizontal Molle carry. The ZT 0350 is mated up with a Novatac EDC 120 combination sheath with paddle.

    That is a question that can only be answered by someone that has done both. chapnelson is correct in that there is a learning curve with both, kydex is very tool intensive, not quite as easy as it may look but not hard. The make or break of a kydex sheath is the press.

    Kydex - Strider SMF & Winkler II

    Strider SMF-(Tek-Lok) Set up for vertical or horizontal carry. Winkler II-(Tek-Lok-Molle) One is set up for inverted carry, via Molle Lok-The other has Tek-Lok. All are Level II retention.

    Kydex Level II retention for 2 Daniel Winkler Knives

    At least one of these sheaths will be tentatively submitted to the DOD for approval for military use if we decide to do a collaboration. The 2 sheaths are Level II retention using the TIE Lock, both can use Tek Lok or Molle for whichever carry mode is needed.

    Murph: Sorry for the slow reply but to answer your question, I do use a press that I designed and built. I can choose the amount of pressure to apply, from light to extreme and anywhere in between, LOL I was not trying to rhyme.
