    Ball Bearings / Pivots ?????

Hey Dean, I have some CCTs that do use small sealed bearings. On a knife this small it did not prove to make a difference and greatly increased the construction time and cost. The bearings available are either the wrong internal or external dimensions. Has anyone seen a god source for...

Stupid ways I've hurt myself making knives

That's IT ?? That's what I do while making coffee, before going into the shop. My Best: Polishing the handle on a hunter 4" blade, I caught the sleeve of my sweatshirt in the vise handle, just knocking the blade loose. The hunter dropped out of the vise and went into my thigh right below, up...

Tactical Folder Textured Ti, Ball Bearings

Les, Are you just going into the blade ? Must be careful on blades that are .125. I use .125 metal with .010 washers, doesn't leave much meat in the center for pivot to ride on. Great knives by the way. Jim

    Ball Bearings / Pivots ?????

If you are going to use the IKBS logo and such, then you need to pay the $50.00 and submit a knife. I have paid the fee, but made the mistake of sending in an unfinished knife. I thought they were going to take it apart. I should have another knife to send in soon. Les makes a great...

Tactical Folder Textured Ti, Ball Bearings

Details Details I usually use .015 washers. The bearings are .0625 dia., so we cut into the blade and or liners a total of .0475. I have been fooling with where to take out the metal ; Blade or Liner or both. The IKBS system takes both. The problem becomes the liner and using Ti. Many of...

Please some information on folding tacticals

Tactical- For Who ?? We got into folders when I kept getting folders that needed modification. This overwhelmed my one man and one dirty dog operation. I asked for a wish list. There were two very distinct areas of demand; 3" and 1.5", but same requests. This list came from military...
