Not the design where the tang goes through the bolster. If memory serves me for a change, I think the last description, is called a Stick Tang, Hidden Tang or even a Rabitt Tang. . . :D :bud:

Very Good 1st. forged knife, since you asked I would have to say to just practice your grinds, and handle shaping a bit; just like all newer and mid level makers would have to do, myself included. other than that for a 1st knife I think you did great, definitely much better than my first...

Oh OK thanks for the info. Well a boat tail blade spine reduces drag in the cut anyway right? :D

2thumbs can you tell us, "what if anything" out of the ordinary you did on the blade spine, it looks to me like it might have a sharpened or wedged area, on it, sorry but I couldn't quite make it out in the photo.
